  • 2013年8月初和2015年6月初前后去了两次,游玩加岸钓。汇总一下我的狗狗研究和自己的经验,给大家以后去的一个参考。

    Homer:
    1. Homer Spit Fishin Hole(Kachemak Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve
    59.609558, -151.437971), best time June-July
    King Salmon
A second king salmon enhancement project was begun on the Homer Spit in 1984. The goal of this project was to develop a king salmon sport fishery for anglers fishing from shore small boats. Preliminary results are encouraging with as many as 3,300 king salmon taken each year.
These king salmon return to a small saltwater pond, named the"Fishing Hole," on the Homer Spit near the boat harbor. Successful fishing techniques include casting with artificial lures, flies, salmon egg clusters, shrimp cut herring. Trolling herring lures along the eastern shoreline of the Spit should also be productive. The timing of these fish is similar to those at Halibut Cove, i.e. the run begins in late May, peaks in mid June, ends in early July. A new regulation effective in 1989 can open close snagging on the Homer Spit by Department emergency orders. These potential periodic openings will be announced in newspapers on radio TV stations. Signs will be posted around the small saltwater pond. The emergency openings will also affect the harvest method for pink coho salmon fishing on the Homer Spit. Snagging on the Homer Spit is permitted only when these surplus enhanced fish can no longer be harvested by non-snagging techniques.
    Coho (silver) Salmon
Similar to the enhanced fisheries for king salmon pink salmon on the Homer Spit, coho or silver salmon are also provided by the ADF&G as an opportunity to catch a fine fighting delicious tasting late season salmon.
This fishery is maintained the same way as the other two salmon fisheries returning to the "Fishing Hole." Young silver salmon smolt are released in the saltwater pond each summer to begin their saltwater water life cycle for the next few years. Returning adult coho salmon begin arriving at the Homer Spit "Fishing Hole" in early August continue to arrive through mid September.
Coho generally weigh 8-15 pounds stage along the Homer Spit en route to their spawning grounds in the Fox River area at the head of the Bay, as well as the same saltwater pond on the Spit where the kings pinks are taken. Shorecasting artificial lures from the Spit can be as productive as trolling from a small boat. Brightly colored spoons spinners are a good choice. Look for a concentration of "jumpers" position yourself within casting or trolling distance of these fish. Another good method involves drifting salmon eggs near the inlet channel of the saltwater pond on the flooding ebbing tides. Suspending egg clusters from a bobber or still fishing on the bottom of the pond can also produce cohos for those that want to take a more relaxed approach to this fishery.
Spoons, spinners, eggs fished solo or under a bobber are all popular offerings to all of the returning salmon. A secret tip from us: take a stard size hoochie (plastic squid), in either purple or green/white, attach to a 3/8 jig head ... then cast this out walk along the bottom ... deadly!

From June 11th through August 20th, the areas open to salmon fishing on the Russian River a specific section of the Kenai River below the mouth of the Russian River is designated as Fly Fishing Only requires Single Hook, Artificial Fly Only for fishing. The gap between hook point shank can be no wider than 3/8 inch.

Weight can be added to your line BUT it must be 18 inches or farther above your fly to be legal. Most anglers prefer 3/8 oz. rubber core sinkers as an easy weight to attach to the line quickly change out if you need less or more weight depending on the water depth currents. 千万不要违规,鱼警用高倍镜在检查。钓到King,不能拿出水面,要在水里放了。

Bag Limiits: The limiit on sockeye salmon for the Fly Fishing Only area is normally 3 fish per person per day (Mikes note: increase to 6 sockeye now) with 3 in possession. Fish which have not been FROZEN, canned or smoked are still considered part of your daily possession limiit. In order for fish NOT to be a part of your possession limiit, they must be processed in a manner so as to remain edible after a 15 day period of time. Cleaned fish in an ice cooler is considered by law to be part of your possession limiit. There are local fish processors in the Cooper Ling area that can freeze your fish if you are going to be fishing for an extended period of time.
During exceptionally strong returns for either of the two Russian River sockeye runs, the Department of Fish & Game may at their discretion issue an Emergency Order increasing the Bag Limiit for anglers. On the contrary, years which produce very low numbers of returning fish will need protection in order to achieve the minimum spawning escapement goals so Emergency Orders may be issued which lower the bag limiit to ONE fish or close the fishery all together. Anglers fishing the Russian-Kenai FFO area must keep track of any regulations changes. These are announced through various media sources such as radio, tv, newspapers AOJ.
Tackle & Technique: Although this fishery area is "Fly Fishing Only" it does not mean you must use a fly rod in order to comply with the law. The majority of anglers prefer to use medium weight salmon rods spinning or bait casting reels. The fact that you must use a sinker in order to get the fly down deep enough in the swift water discourages most anglers from wanting to use a fly rod with this method. But you will see flyrods in use up down the area.
Technique is simple; just watch other anglers. You are basically using about one a half rod-lengths of line flipping the fly out upstream letting it drift just above the bottom. If you arent occasionally feeling your sinker bump the rocks, you arent deep enough. "Strikes" are subtle, often indicated by just a slight pause in the drift. Anglers eventually get the "feel" for this technique know when the line has hung on the bottom when its a fish. Please note, snagging is illegal in freshwater Alaska even considers inappropriate fishing techniques which could result in intentionally snagging a fish as harrasement of the species is a fineable offense. You will see the "Good & the Bad" among the crowd.

Fishing in the Russian River itself is much different than fishing in the Kenai River area. The Russian is a clear water stream of modest size affording the sockeye angler an opportunity to "sight fish" for salmon moving upstream or holding in the deeper pools. Polarized Glasses are an absolute must for this technique to prevent casting in empty water if you cant see through the surface glare.
The drawback to fishing in the Russian is the fact that fish move from the Kenai River holding area into the Russian in spurts sometimes it may be several days before good numbers of fish decide to make the run up the river itself. So those camping for a couple days will have a better opportunity for catching fish going by than Day Use anglers who only have 12 hours available for their fishing efforts.
For this reason, the Kenai River Ferry Crossing area is the most popular most productive section of this fishery. Sockeye can school up by the thouss below the confluence of the Russian & Kenai rivers before deciding to head upstream. This provides much more consistent fishing for anglers with one drawback...it also attracts the most anglers! So expect crowds as well as a lot of fish. Be courteous respectful of your neighbors. Although anglers try to maintain 5-10 feet between themselves, some locations along the bank will literally be shoulder-to-shoulder.
An area next to the Ferry Crossing ling across the river is designated as Hicapped Persons Only Fishing provides those anglers with limiiting disabilities a spot to fish from which has a relatively gentle bank very good location. Please dont abuse that area....that would be like parking in a hicap only spot.
